What a spectacular host for a Costa Rica beach wedding! We had our wedding with Hotel Villas Río Mar in Dominical. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end, mostly due to the excellent work by them.

Hotel Villas Río Mar is a lovely, small resort tucked away in the jungle besides a beautiful river, only 1 km from the beach. The bungalow-style rooms are spacious and comfortable, each one with a terrace! There is a large pool, a tennis court and the gardens hold a beautiful assortment of plants. The gardens are home to wildlife as toucans, hummingbirds and iguanas. Dominical is a small town, not too touristy, it offers a nice variety of restaurants and shops.

The wedding planner, Estela, was amazing. She brought our vision to life with ease. Her attention to detail and helping us find local providers, from transportation to florists, was priceless, saving us a lot. She was hands on with everything and communicated clearly from the beginning to the end. She even arranged a violinist for the ceremony and traditional dancers for our rehearsal night at no extra charge!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They catered to our guests’ needs at every occasion, providing help with luggage upon arrival, room service, spa services and more.

The breakfast (complimentary) to start the day was fantastic with enough to choose from. Try out the tasty sausage! The rehearsal and wedding dinner took place in the on-site restaurant that was perfectly suited for our group (75 ppl). The food was excellent and satisfying. The staff was very attentive and gave very good beverage service. The beautiful wedding cake was delicious.

Wedding Costa Rica organized several activities for our guests to do, including ziplining, white water rafting, horseback riding and a tour through the stunning nature of the region .All at very reasonable prices. All our guests really liked it, it was a lot of fun and a very positive experience!
